Before starting Momentum, our founder Simon and his family owned a watch company called Chronosport. In 1977, they launched one of the first-ever analog quartz diver’s watches, the Sea Quartz 30. The brand became so popular that it was soon sold in almost every serious dive store in the US and Canada. This watch was also famously worn by Tom Selleck in the first 3 seasons of the hit show Magnum PI.

Now with the amazing solar movements are also better for the environment, result in fewer batteries ending up in landfills, have longer service intervals, and come standard with a 6-year warranty is not so bad either.

We believe in sustainability through durability. Solar-powered watches require less servicing and result in less batteries used over the product's lifespan. With solar watches, we also provide a 6-year warranty out the box, no 2-year service intervals required. The solar movement charges in any light, allowing the Eclipse to run for up to 6 months in pitch darkness.
